Morrigan has been aged for 9 months in Bourbon Barrels. This allows both the beer and the barrel to absorb from and impart flavours to each other.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Dark black opaque, with a fluffy yet short-lived tan head.
- Aroma: Bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, brown sugar, with coffee.
- Flavour: Bourbon, molasses, Oak, vanilla, with a dark bitter chocolate lingering finish.
- Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with low carbonation.
